We have thought up a series of well-being experiences involving the senses and slow rhythm in order to transform your Querceto days into an unforgettable memory.
We love this land and feel we belong to it, we have spent days and nights in the woods to create for you live experiences made of smells and aromas, silence and space, and the serenity that only Querceto can give.

Here are some proposals for tastings, trekking, walks and little trips by e-bike so you can plunge into nature and discover hidden treasures as you search for unexpected places and authentic savours.
​In every experience you will be accompanied by a professional expert local guide who knows the specific experience well. You can personalize time and schedule, route and experience, depending on your needs and interests. You can choose which emotions entice you most amongst the many hidden in the magic of Querceto.

THE BREATHING OF WINE
A voyage in the taste of wine and its world
We will let ourselves be guided by nature through the woods and vineyards, searching for the secrets of wine and its bond with the land: we will discover the magic and science which give wine its aroma, bouquet and structure. We will try to understand which processes and factors determine the richness of wine.
We will taste and capture small details which our senses will learn to perceive. Because drinking wine is an act of pleasure, completeness and fascination.
We will conclude our journey in the universe of wine with a lunch or dinner at the Locanda del Castello where our Chef will match each wine with a gourmet dish of his own creation.

In the name of gastrosophy, we will immerse ourselves in a picnic dinner among vineyards and woodland.
We will be guided by nature through the vineyards in search of the secrets of the treasures of this land, of the flovours of yesteryear; we will awaken our senses and our creativity by relying on touch, sense of smell and imagination; we will savour little-known delicacies, combining smells, flavours and textures in search of the heart of things and their history and essence. We will play at preparing synaesthetic “gifts” full of “meaning” for ourselves and those we love, all in a “world of wonderment”.

THE FABLE OF BEES
History and secrets of the merchants of the sun
A fascinating trip in the world of bees, we will listen to their dialogue: a struggle with, and love of, flowers. We will observe the life of these splendid creatures, the legends that for thousands of years have accompanied them and the magic stories surrounding that city of gold: the beehive.
We will discover the activities and products that create and transform, we will delve into a sensorial analysis of different honeys and end the day with a meal featuring ancient and modern recipes and preparations inspired by the world of flowers and bees.

Discovering the geometries of the universe
A little trip in the heart of the night to learn all about the universe and the sky: listen to tales the dark can tell, let yourself be enchanted by the magic. Learn how to find your way thanks to the stars, interrogate the silence, trace the geometries of the universe. Learn how to recognize the main constellations and the legends that each reveals.
Lie down and look up at the blanket of stars above you, travel through time and space, trace your way back to the origin of all things.

THE ESTATE OF THE MARCHESI GINORI LISCI
Wine tasting and visit of the cellar
Not to be missed in Querceto is a visit to the wine cellars with tasting of the biological wines of Marchesi Ginori Lisci, Montescudaio DOC, and their extra virgin olive oil. Visitors will be taken through a brief enchanting walk through the narrow alleys of the village to discover the history of the Castle and end with a visit on the spot where the wine is actually produced.
The visit finishes with a special tasting in our wine shop “La Dispensa del Castello” which is ensconced in the ancient olive press of the village and has fascinating original machinery still in place, including a beautiful old stone mill.

Ready to be bewitched by the moon?
The moon is truly magical and has been protecting us and regulating our lives and giving the world its balance for millions of years.
We are looking forward to an excursion to discover the scents and sounds of the forest at night, surrounded by light and shadow, we will listen to the countless stories of our wonderful satellite with myths, tales and science.
We will discover how the moon came into being, how it affects us, and listen to the many tales from around the world about how various cultures have seen and interacted with the Moon Goddess.
We will not turn on the lights, we will let our eyes adjust to the white light of the moon, we will not raise our voices but open our ears and noses to become part of the wonder.

THE WEB OF THE WORLD
Immersion in nature and forest bathing
Every day, nature weaves thousands of threads into a web of wonder. We are losing awareness of it but we will be able to see these threads again: just sit in a forest’s embrace, listen to its voice, observe it and the threads will materialise.
But to be able to see them, you have to irradiate the world with your attention, with your emotions, with your curiosity. In a word, you must fill it with your imagination.
Only then does the world send back our rays, colouring them with its own essence.
We will undertake a short journey through the woods of the Marchesi Ginori estates to discover the invisible threads of nature, a journey in which we will try to weave our feelings, our emotions, a journey towards ourselves, unleashing our creative power and the strength that our bond with nature gives us.

We'll be pedalling on e-bikes along fascinating panoramic roads that encapsulate the essence of the Tuscan landscape where meadows and woods stretch into the distance, following fascinating geometric patterns dominated by ancient villages suspended in time.
