The name “L’Attesa” (that in Italian means “the waiting”) is inspired by the moments of rest the coalmen could enjoy, in the XIX century, in this apartment, while their horses, which towed the carts full of coal for the castle’s and the village’s stoves, got refreshed, ready to depart again towards the woods for another cart-full.
The apartment, just renovated, is located in the Castello Ginori of Querceto village centre and has 3 double bedrooms, each with a bathroom (all with shower) and antique restored furniture that before was in the rooms of the Castle and the farm.
The so-called “Parrot Bedroom” is a twin bedroom and has a lovely view on the valley of olive trees and picturesque Mediterranean shrub. From the second double bedroom, the “Fireplace Bedroom”, you can admire the typical Mediterranean landscape so full of charm.
The third bedroom, the “Coach Bedroom”, has a nice view on the village square. It is a large and cosy double bedroom pleasantly full of light also thanks to its bright colour.
Each bedroom gives on the living-room where there is also a cooking-area. The choice of the colours and the furniture revive the warm atmosphere of the old Tuscan homes.
The central heating is by wood , not by cutting trees, but with the under-wood that necessarily must be cut to keep the woods in good health.
